This role involves providing 24/7 support to Bloomberg Professional Service users worldwide, assisting with a broad spectrum of queries across various industries and languages via the Helpdesk and ‘Instant Bloomberg’ chat system. On an average day, support staff respond to over 12,000 questions, ranging from educating clients on risk management solutions to helping traders discover new market liquidity sources.

Participants will undergo extensive training covering industry principles, market players, asset classes, and Bloombergâ??s analytical tools. After training, you will join an Analytics team, delivering exceptional customer service by providing accurate, timely solutions and continuing your education through specialized training in asset classes and workflows. There are multiple pathways for career progression, including moving into sales, advancing within the support team, or taking on leadership roles.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Japanese and English, both written and spoken, and possess a bachelorâ??s degree or relevant experience. A strong interest in financial markets, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask and solve problems efficiently are essential. Candidates should demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a client-focused mindset. Willingness to travel within the EMEA region and work outside standard hours, including weekends or bank holidays, is required. Previous exposure to coding languages like Python or VBA, or experience in relationship management, is a plus.
