The 2027 Actuarial Consultant Internship Programme in Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance offers an exciting opportunity for students to gain practical experience within WTW’s Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) team. This eight-week internship is designed to immerse participants in real-world projects, allowing them to contribute to various client engagements while learning from industry-leading experts.

Responsibilities

• Participate in various client, research, and development projects within the P&C Insurance team.
• Utilize actuarial and statistical modeling techniques to analyze data and generate insightful results for clients.
• Present analytical findings to colleagues and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team members both in the UK and internationally to address real-world actuarial challenges.
• Enhance technical and consulting skills through practical experience and team collaboration.
• Learn and implement open-source tools and proprietary insurance technology solutions used in the industry.

Requirements

• Possess strong numerical and analytical skills to solve complex commercial problems using innovative approaches.

• Be personable, approachable, and motivated to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
• Comfortable using AI tools and understanding their strengths and limitations.

• Currently in the penultimate year of university studies.
• On track to achieve a 2:1 degree, with A-level Mathematics at grade A or above, and at least 136 UCAS points from three A levels or equivalent qualifications.
