You will be responsible for managing a defined, high-value territory, with a clear mandate to generate new revenue streams and deepen existing client relationships.
Market Focus
You will target professional and regulated service firms that provide governance, entity management, risk, compliance, and audit services to their clients. These include fund administrators, corporate service providers, management companies (such as AIFMs and ManCos), law firms, private equity and venture capital firms, trust and fiduciary services, risk advisory firms, and audit and consulting organizations. The platform you promote is central to how these firms operate and grow, making your role vital in their success. The geographic scope is flexible, covering offshore and onshore markets like the Channel Islands, Luxembourg, Ireland, the UK, Cayman Islands, BVI, Bermuda, Isle of Man, and Middle East regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the full sales cycle within your assigned territory, from prospecting and pipeline development to closing deals and expanding accounts.
- Utilize your network and market expertise to open doors quickly, manage complex multi-stakeholder negotiations independently, and collaborate with Diligentâ??s broader sales team to accelerate growth.
- Build and maintain credible relationships with senior decision-makers, understanding their governance, risk, compliance, and regulatory challenges that influence purchasing decisions.
- Keep the sales pipeline and forecasts accurate and current within Salesforce, supporting effective planning and reporting.
- Engage with firms involved in governance, risk, compliance, legal, or audit functions, emphasizing how Diligentâ??s SaaS platform supports their operational and growth objectives.
- Operate across multiple jurisdictions, tailoring strategies to local market conditions and regulations.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of seven yearsâ?? experience selling SaaS solutions, with a consistent record of achieving sales targets in roles such as Account Executive, Account Manager, or Sales Manager.
- Proven ability to sell complex SaaS products to professional or regulated organizations, especially those involved in governance, risk, compliance, legal, or audit sectors.
- Experience working within fund services, corporate services, or similar regulated markets is highly desirable, but the key skill is establishing credibility with senior stakeholders in compliance-driven environments.
- Comfortable discussing regulation and compliance issues authoritatively, and navigating sales where these factors influence decision-making.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle challenging conversations and turn them into positive outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and present effectively.
- Experience with Salesforce for managing sales pipelines and forecasts.
