Role Overview

This position involves managing and expanding sales opportunities for Brazeâ??s SaaS solutions tailored for retail clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years of experience selling enterprise SaaS solutions, with a focus on analytics, CRM, marketing automation, digital media publishing, or content marketing. You will be responsible for closing high-value deals, typically ranging from $80,000 to over $1 million annually (ARR/ACV), and working closely with both internal teams and external partners to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage new business opportunities across the North UK, Ireland, Nordics, and Benelux retail sectors, focusing on SaaS solutions that meet client needs.
  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their challenges and demonstrate how Brazeâ??s platform can create measurable value, emphasizing areas like analytics, CRM, and marketing automation.
  • Lead complex sales processes involving large organizations, ensuring strategic engagement and effective negotiation to close deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Business Development, Marketing, Deal Desk, Strategic Consulting, and Customer Success to align sales strategies and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Identify and connect with key decision-makers within target organizations, understanding their procurement processes to facilitate successful sales outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including system integrators, technology vendors, and marketing agencies, to expand sales channels.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, especially in mobile and digital marketing, and continuously update product knowledge to provide relevant solutions.
  • Prioritize and classify accounts, ensuring consistent engagement supported by collaboration with Business Development Representatives and Account Managers.
  • Travel across designated regions to meet clients and prospects in person, supporting regional sales efforts and relationship building.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of seven years in enterprise SaaS sales, with a successful record of closing high-value deals in the retail sector.
  • Experience selling solutions related to analytics, CRM, marketing automation, or digital media is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering compelling presentations and pitches.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex sales processes and demonstrate business value effectively.
  • Training or experience in Value Selling and Business Value Assessments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce.com or Clari for pipeline management.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new cloud applications and stay current with digital trends, especially in mobile technology.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to build relationships within large organizations and identify decision-makers efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel across the North region as required.
