This role involves engaging with public sector clients to promote Cisco’s Splunk solutions, tailored to meet the unique needs of healthcare and government organizations. You will be responsible for managing existing relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and demonstrating the value of our data analytics and security products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture relationships with NHS and other public sector clients to drive sales of Splunk solutions.
- Identify potential new clients and opportunities within the public sector, leveraging your industry knowledge and Ciscoâ??s resources.
- Present and showcase Splunk products to prospective clients, emphasizing their benefits and relevance to public sector challenges.
- Work closely with technical teams and support staff to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and solutions are successfully delivered.
- Stay informed about NHS priorities, procurement procedures, and public sector trends to inform your sales approach.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals, ensuring compliance with Ciscoâ??s policies and customer satisfaction standards.
- Provide ongoing support and account management to foster long-term relationships and customer success.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions using CRM tools, providing regular updates to management.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated success in sales or account management within the public sector, with experience working with NHS clients preferred.
- Deep understanding of public sector procurement processes and NHS operational needs.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders and technical teams alike.
- Strong consultative sales skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose suitable solutions.
- Self-driven, proactive, and motivated to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Knowledge of Splunk or similar data analytics and cybersecurity solutions is advantageous.
- Experience in a dynamic sales environment with a focus on meeting objectives.
- Relevant certifications or technical expertise related to data analytics or cybersecurity are a plus.
