The role of the Account Manager (SMB) based in London involves actively promoting and selling KnowBe4â??s suite of cybersecurity products and services to existing small and medium-sized business clients. The primary goal is to exceed monthly sales quotas through strategic account management, upselling, and cross-selling initiatives. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust pipeline of potential opportunities by developing strong relationships with your assigned accounts, understanding their organizational structure, and identifying key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of KnowBe4â??s cybersecurity solutions to existing SMB clients, aiming to surpass monthly sales targets for cross-sales and account expansion.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of potential opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account upgrades by fostering relationships with clients.
  • Effectively communicate the value and benefits of KnowBe4â??s full product suite, educating clients on how our solutions strengthen their human firewall defenses.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers within client organizations to qualify opportunities for additional sales and upgrades.
  • Follow up on marketing leads to convert prospects into revenue and expand the sales pipeline.
  • Negotiate multi-year contracts and discounted pricing to maximize annual recurring revenue (ARR).
  • Keep detailed records of sales activities and statistics using Salesforce CRM.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Renewal Specialists to understand client needs, organizational structure, and cybersecurity gaps, increasing product adoption and commitment.
  • Support account renewal processes, identifying opportunities for further growth during contract discussions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • One to three years of sales experience working with small and medium-sized businesses.
  • A university degree or equivalent higher education qualification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of IT, cybersecurity, or security industry practices is desirable.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Gmail, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Comfort with web browsers like Chrome and Internet Explorer.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly conveying product value.
  • A data-driven mindset focused on achieving measurable sales results.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and proactive with minimal supervision.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments.
