Capgemini is seeking an experienced AI Architect to spearhead the strategy, design, and implementation of advanced AI solutions across the enterprise. This role involves defining the overarching AI architecture vision, establishing governance standards, and designing scalable, secure, and responsible AI systems that utilize the latest models and frameworks such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI.
The AI Architect will act as a bridge between various business units, including Product, Engineering, Data, Security, and Risk teams, to facilitate the enterprise-wide adoption of AI capabilities. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining the enterprise AI strategy and roadmap, evaluating emerging AI technologies, and recommending strategic adoption to keep the organization at the forefront of AI innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the formulation and upkeep of the enterprise AI architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Establish governance frameworks, standards, and principles for AI solutions to ensure responsible and compliant deployment.
- Assess new AI technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for strategic integration.
- Partner with leadership to identify transformation opportunities enabled by AI.
- Design and deploy enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions using models like OpenAI GPT, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, and others.
- Develop RAG solutions to improve knowledge retrieval and data access.
- Create architectures for Agentic AI systems and multi-agent frameworks to automate complex processes.
- Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) patterns for system integration.
- Set standards for prompt engineering, context management, AI evaluation, grounding, retrieval, and hallucination reduction.
- Lead the development of AI assistants, virtual agents, copilots, and autonomous workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 10+ years in technology architecture roles, with at least 5 years dedicated to enterprise AI or data architecture.
- Extensive experience designing and deploying large-scale AI platforms.
- Proficiency with LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, semantic search, knowledge graphs, and vector databases.
- Hands-on experience deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and enterprise standards.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to senior leadership.
- Experience working within regulated industries, ensuring compliance and security.
- Desirable skills include familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, Vertex AI, Bedrock, Databricks AI, Snowflake Cortex, and building enterprise AI assistants or autonomous agents.
- Additional expertise in Text-to-SQL, conversational analytics, knowledge management, and semantic layers is a plus.
