The role of AI Enablement Lead within Bloomberg’s External Relations team is designed for a technically skilled individual eager to drive the practical adoption of artificial intelligence across various departments. This position involves working closely with teams involved in Communications, Corporate Philanthropy, Climate Finance, and Public Policy to identify high-impact workflows where AI can make a meaningful difference. The successful candidate will prototype AI solutions using internal tools and automation techniques, transforming ambiguous business challenges into actionable AI pilots and workflows. They will encourage teams to rethink and redesign their processes from scratch, rather than simply layering AI onto existing methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with ER teams to find workflows that can benefit from AI enhancements in speed, quality, insights, or scalability.
• Develop and prototype AI solutions using approved internal tools, automation, and lightweight technical approaches.
• Translate vague business problems into testable AI use cases, pilots, and repeatable workflows.
• Assist teams in reimagining their processes from the ground up, fostering innovation and efficiency.
• Serve as a hands-on AI advisor and trainer for ER colleagues, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
• Create reusable resources such as playbooks, prompts, workflows, and training materials tailored to ERâ??s needs.
• Conduct demos, workshops, office hours, and showcase events to demonstrate AI use cases and encourage adoption.
• Build a community of AI champions within global ER teams to promote successful practices and ideas.
• Act as a central connector to firmwide AI, engineering, product, operations, legal, and compliance teams to facilitate collaboration and resolve access, policy, and security issues.
• Stay updated on Bloombergâ??s internal AI roadmap and identify opportunities to translate new AI capabilities into practical applications for ER.
• Provide regular updates to ER leadership on AI adoption progress, challenges, successes, and future opportunities.

Candidate Profile

• Hands-on technical experience, including programming, automation, data analysis, or engineering work.
• Strong practical knowledge of AI tools and a curiosity about the future developments in AI technology.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues.
