AI Engineering Consultant / Senior Consultant Overview

Capgemini Invent is seeking an experienced AI Engineering Consultant or Senior Consultant to join their team. This role involves designing, building, and operationalizing advanced AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI systems at an enterprise level. The primary focus is to bridge the gap between AI prototypes and integrated business solutions, scaling AI responsibly and ensuring smooth deployment from lab to live environment. The successful candidate will assess and implement robust MLOps frameworks, including governance and best practices aligned with industry standards.

Key responsibilities include creating end-to-end AI/ML solutions that encompass data preparation, model development, deployment, feature store management, and continuous monitoring. They will utilize the latest Generative AI and Agentic Frameworks such as ADK, Langgraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, and Llamaindex to deliver innovative solutions. Translating business needs into technical architectures using cloud services across Azure, GCP, and AWS is essential, along with designing and implementing Generative AI solutions like RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and large language model orchestration.

Safety, ethical considerations, evaluation, and assurance mechanisms will be embedded throughout the AI lifecycle to ensure responsible and explainable AI solutions. The role involves close collaboration with product managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure AI solutions generate measurable value and impact. Additionally, the role offers opportunities for business development, such as creating client demonstrations, supporting proposals, and sharing best practices. Developing reusable frameworks and contributing to internal thought leadership activities are also part of the responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in consulting or industry with a proven track record of delivering scalable AI/ML solutions from concept to production. Deep knowledge of Generative and Agentic AI, cloud-native architectures, and hands-on experience with relevant tools and frameworks are required. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to unlock business value through AI scaling and possess strong collaboration skills.
