Capgemini Invent is seeking an experienced AI Engineering Consultant or Senior Consultant to join their team, focusing on designing, building, and deploying advanced AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI systems at an enterprise level. This role involves bridging the gap between AI prototypes and fully integrated business solutions, ensuring responsible and scalable deployment that delivers measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operationalize sophisticated AI and ML systems suitable for large-scale enterprise use.
- Implement industry-standard MLOps frameworks, governance, and best practices to ensure reliable and ethical AI deployment.
- Create comprehensive end-to-end AI/ML solutions, managing all phases from data preparation and model creation to deployment, feature management, and ongoing monitoring.
- Leverage the latest Generative AI and Agentic Frameworks such as ADK, Langgraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, and Llamaindex to develop innovative solutions.
- Translate business use cases into scalable data and AI architectures, utilizing cloud services across Azure, GCP, and AWS.
- Design and deploy Generative AI solutions, including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and orchestrate large language models across cloud platforms.
- Embed safety, ethical, and evaluation mechanisms throughout the AI lifecycle to ensure responsible AI solutions that are explainable and trustworthy.
- Convert business requirements into technical blueprints and lead multidisciplinary teams to execute these plans effectively.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure AI solutions generate tangible value.
- Support business development activities by creating client demos, assisting in proposals, and showcasing delivery success stories.
- Develop reusable frameworks and assets to accelerate delivery and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and innovation.
- Engage in thought leadership through writing, internal accelerators, and exploring emerging AI topics like Agentic AI and LLMOps.
Candidate Profile
- Experience working in a major consulting firm or industry with a consulting mindset, successfully delivering solutions in complex, matrixed environments.
- Proven ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to define requirements and build solutions collaboratively.
- Strong background in designing and implementing scalable MLOps strategies and deploying AI/ML solutions from concept to production.
- Deep knowledge of Generative AI and Agentic AI, including RAG pipelines, embeddings, and orchestration frameworks.
- Hands-on experience designing cloud-native AI architectures on platforms such as Azure, GCP, and AWS.
- Ability to demonstrate how AI scaling can unlock significant business value and impact.
- Technical expertise with cloud services like Azure (Foundry, AI Studio, OpenAI, AKS), GCP (Vertex AI, Cloud Run), and AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker).
- Experience with AI/ML pipeline automation tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Azure ML, and Google ADK.
- Practical experience with Generative and Agentic AI frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, and Autogen.
- Skill in designing RAG pipelines, agent workflows, and integrating with large language model APIs.
- Proficiency in CI/CD and containerization technologies including GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps.
- Optional skills include evaluating AI system performance, understanding data lakehouse architectures, vector databases, and API integration patterns.
- Applicants must have lived in the UK for the past five years to qualify for this role.
