Capgemini Invent is seeking a highly skilled AI Platform & Site Reliability Engineering Consultant or Senior Consultant to join their Cloud Advisory team. This role plays a vital part in guiding clients through cloud transformation initiatives that are centered on automation and AI readiness. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to design, assess, and evolve cloud operating models that leverage automation, AI, and intelligent workflows to achieve measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer strategic advice to clients on transforming their cloud operations into automation-first, AI-enabled models, supporting their cloud adoption and digital transformation efforts.
- Perform detailed assessments and audits of existing cloud operating models to identify areas for standardization, automation, and AI integration, translating these insights into future-state designs.
- Design target cloud operating models, including service management frameworks and organizational structures aligned with clients’ strategic goals and cloud maturity levels.
- Develop practical, measurable processes for service delivery, governance, and operational workflows that prioritize automation and AI readiness.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of cloud transformation initiatives using operational metrics, recommending improvements and supporting the deployment of intelligent monitoring and analytics tools.
- Utilize expertise in strategy, service management, DevOps, and organizational design to deliver impactful business outcomes through cloud projects.
- Collaborate across organizational levels to foster innovation, design solutions, and implement cloud transformation strategies that incorporate automation and AI.
- Advise clients on the application of large language models, copilot tools, and agentic AI within cloud operating models, including use cases like service automation and AI-assisted decision-making.
- Support clients in understanding and applying AI governance principles, focusing on data quality, transparency, and responsible AI use.
- Contribute to business development activities such as proposals, RFP responses, client pitches, and proposition development.
- Engage in internal initiatives including thought leadership, whitepapers, practice development, and knowledge sharing events.
- Participate in ongoing learning and certification programs, including training on leading cloud and AI technologies from top providers.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in transforming business operations through technology, with a focus on organizational change and process redefinition.
- Knowledge of ITIL V4 and/or V5 frameworks, including incident, change, problem management, and service desk operations, with an interest in automation and AI-enabled process evolution.
- Certification in ITIL V4 or V5 at the Foundation level or higher is highly valued.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools and platforms, and understanding of their integration into cloud and ITSM workflows.
- Strong interest in agentic AI patterns and autonomous agents impacting IT and service delivery.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and modern delivery pipelines.
- Expertise in managing and designing solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including core services like compute, storage, networking, and security.
- Understanding of cloud security standards and compliance requirements to ensure secure, resilient, and compliant cloud environments.
- Experience working within large consulting firms or industry sectors, with success in navigating matrixed organizations and securing stakeholder support.
- Proven ability to develop propositions and deliver solutions effectively, leveraging professional networks for business growth.
- Demonstrated curiosity and continuous learning in AI through certifications, projects, or active community involvement.
