Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop sophisticated simulation environments, frameworks, and tools that support the evolution of computing technology.
- Build and optimize simulation systems that accurately model hardware components such as system-on-chip (SoC) and memory architectures.
- Work closely with hardware and software teams to ensure simulation environments effectively support performance analysis and validation activities.
- Create detailed technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and validation reports to facilitate reproducibility and clarity.
- Participate in testing, validation, and verification processes to ensure simulation models are reliable and precise.
- Contribute to the development of workloads related to AI, high-performance computing, or cryptography, which are considered advantageous but not mandatory.
- Continuously improve simulation tools and frameworks to adapt to evolving hardware and software innovations.
Candidate Requirements
- At least ten years of professional experience with Python and/or C++ programming.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing simulation systems and developer frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of event-driven simulation platforms such as SimPy or similar tools.
- Deep understanding of SoC and memory architecture design principles.
- Experience with software testing, validation, and verification methodologies.
- Ability to produce comprehensive technical specifications, test plans, and documentation.
- Familiarity with workloads in AI, HPC, or cryptography is a plus.
- Experience with Rust, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, or performance analysis tools is desirable.
