What we're looking for

We are looking for a profile with a university technical degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or similar, and at least three years of experience in software development for industrial control systems. Previous experience in PLC, HMI, or SCADA environments is essential, and proficiency in B&R is highly valued. Knowledge of languages such as C and Python, experience with databases, and version control with GitLab will also be valued. A good capacity for adaptation, a transversal vision (electromechanical, processes, etc.), and a fluent level of English (minimum B2) are key. Knowledge of German will be a plus. Availability to undertake occasional travel (around 10%) is required.

The role

Are you passionate about the world of industrial automation and software development for PLC systems? At Talent Match, we are collaborating with a rapidly expanding technology company looking to hire an Automation Software Engineer for its development team in Catalonia.

The selected person will be responsible for designing and developing software for industrial automation systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA), participating in high-impact projects with technologies such as B&R, Siemens, or Allen-Bradley. Their functions will include the implementation of control systems for machinery and industrial plants, as well as the development of technical documentation such as specifications, interfaces, testing, and operating concepts. They will also be responsible for the commissioning of solutions on-site (FAT and SAT), provide level 3 technical support, and collaborate with other technical departments, in addition to participating in the evolution and continuous improvement of automation products.
