About the Role

You will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering team focused on delivering technical excellence and collaboration. Your daily tasks will include designing and scaling backend services for the real-time marketplace, primarily using languages such as Go, Ruby, or Python. You will participate in deep technical discussions to improve system architecture, review code, and enhance system reliability through monitoring and visibility improvements. Collaboration across teams will be essential to identify integration opportunities and shape the technical roadmap. Additionally, you will play an active role in the hiring process by conducting interviews and supporting team growth.

What You Need to Succeed

• A passion for writing clear, maintainable, and well-tested software, with a focus on long-term sustainability.
• Experience developing web applications with modern languages like Go, Ruby on Rails, Python, Scala, or Rust.
• Strong understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with large-scale web architecture, especially in environments with high traffic (20,000+ requests per minute).
• Experience working with NoSQL databases or caching layers like Redis, DynamoDB, or ElasticSearch.
• An analytical problem-solving approach, particularly for complex logistical or marketplace challenges.
