About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for creating and refining features for Arm’s embedded machine learning products. Your tasks will include debugging complex software, testing new features, and ensuring the delivery of reliable, efficient solutions. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with hardware teams to optimize compiler performance based on processing pipelines. You will also participate in code reviews, defect tracking, and version control management to uphold high standards of quality.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in embedded software development, including working with bare-metal systems, RTOS, device drivers, I/O, memory, power, and security features.
  • Strong programming skills in C, C++, or Python, with a track record of designing, testing, and debugging complex software.
  • Excellent analytical abilities and a passion for solving challenging technical problems.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams.
  • Solid understanding of compiler fundamentals and hardware processing pipelines.
  • A relevant technical degree or equivalent experience in fields such as Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of machine learning applications and frameworks.
  • Experience with structured development methodologies, defect tracking, and version control systems.
  • Understanding of computer architectures, digital signal processing, or control systems.
  • Experience working within agile environments, including CI/CD and TDD practices.
