Capgemini Invent is seeking experienced professionals to join their Enterprise Data & Analytics team as Consultants or Senior Consultants specializing in Data Management. This role involves working at the forefront of data and AI, helping clients build robust data foundations that enable advanced analytics, AI, and responsible data practices. The position combines advisory, strategic, and delivery responsibilities, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy shaping data strategies and guiding organizations through complex data challenges.

Role Overview

As a key member of the team, you will advise clients on data, analytics, and AI strategies, emphasizing the importance of governance, data quality, and master data management. Your role will include translating technical concepts into business language to influence senior stakeholders and foster a data-driven culture. You will design and implement data management operating models, including defining roles, processes, standards, and stewardship frameworks, then embedding these into client organizations.

You will support the discovery and design of data governance, quality, and MDM solutions that ensure compliance, transparency, and ethical AI practices. Collaboration with business leaders, data architects, developers, and data scientists is essential to integrate governance and quality measures into technical solutions and AI products. Additionally, you will lead workstreams, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to best practice development across projects.

Part of your responsibilities will include contributing to business development activities such as preparing proposals, participating in client pitches, and hosting industry events. Internally, you will engage in thought leadership, whitepapers, and practice development activities, supporting the growth of the team and the firmâ??s capabilities. Continuous professional development through certifications and training is encouraged to keep pace with emerging trends in data and AI.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will possess strong advisory skills, excellent stakeholder communication, and problem-solving abilities. Practical experience in designing and deploying data management, governance, or MDM solutions is essential, with familiarity with tools like Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Ataccama, or Microsoft Purview. Demonstrated project leadership or significant contribution in these areas is highly valued.

Experience in establishing data stewardship roles within governance models and knowledge of AI-related data preparation, governance, and responsible AI frameworks are desirable. Candidates should have a broad understanding of data management roles such as analysts, data engineers, data architects, or specialists in metadata and master data management.
