Join a leading semiconductor company at its flagship UK design center located in Cambridge, where some of the most advanced processors and connected technologies are being developed. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a globally respected engineering team working on next-generation CPUs, GPUs, ultra-low-power IoT devices, and innovative wearable technologies used by millions worldwide.

As a CPU Verification Engineer, you will play a vital role in validating microarchitectures of CPUs and SoCs, taking ownership of key verification areas to ensure features are thoroughly tested and ready for integration into world-class products. Your responsibilities will include working closely with CPU and SoC architects to understand design intent and system requirements, developing detailed verification plans based on architectural specifications, and creating scalable, reusable verification environments. You will build sophisticated testbenches incorporating stimulus generators, assertions, checkers, trackers, and coverage models, and maintain these environments to support ongoing verification activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microprocessor verification, with experience in Random Instruction Sequencing (RIS) and verification at multiple levels such as block, subsystem, and chip. A deep understanding of processor operations, architectures, and microarchitectures is essential, along with the ability to develop portable testbenches, transactors, and assembly-level tests. Prior CPU verification experience is a must.

The role offers a competitive salary, RSUs, and annual bonuses. Candidates already residing in the UK will be supported with visa sponsorship and relocation assistance if needed.
