This position involves developing and executing strategies to identify, evaluate, and mitigate cyber threats, ensuring the security of Lenovo’s products, platforms, and services. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance to various teams and stakeholders to manage risks effectively and align security initiatives with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to detect, evaluate, and counteract current and emerging cyber threats affecting the organization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on security matters, offering expert guidance and constructive feedback to ensure effective management of cyber risks aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate closely with IT, engineering, and business units to establish a multi-layered security framework that safeguards the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and services.
- Assist product development, design, service, and operations teams by defining security requirements and ensuring secure practices are followed throughout the entire lifecycle of products and services.
- Work with software engineering, DevOps, and information security teams to embed security controls into continuous integration and deployment pipelines, cloud environments, and application architectures.
- Promote secure coding standards, conduct code reviews, and identify vulnerabilities early in the development process to foster a security-first development culture.
- Investigate security incidents, analyze root causes, and support resolution efforts by providing expert insights and risk-based recommendations to enhance organizational resilience.
- Develop, maintain, and update security policies, standards, procedures, and incident response playbooks, supporting audit and certification activities, and reviewing penetration testing and vulnerability assessment results.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on industry best practices to strengthen security posture across the organization.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in cybersecurity operations, ideally within a Managed Services Provider or a fast-paced technology environment, with a strong understanding of cyber risk management.
- Industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or equivalent qualifications demonstrating advanced expertise.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls, with experience supporting their implementation and ongoing improvement.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies, monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, and incident response processes, including detection, investigation, and reporting of security events.
- Technical background in security operations, infrastructure, cloud, or network security, with the ability to assess and mitigate risks across complex environments.
- Deep understanding of security best practices, threat prevention techniques, vulnerability management, and incident response strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and advisory skills, capable of influencing both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with experience in developing security policies and balancing strategic and operational priorities.
