This position is for a Data Center Service Category Commercial Manager at TikTok, located in London. The role is integral to supporting TikTok’s rapid growth and managing the extensive content on its platform by overseeing the procurement processes related to data center construction, delivery, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, onboard qualified suppliers, and manage the entire procurement process, which includes sourcing, negotiation, contract execution, milestone tracking, and supplier performance oversight.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of the data center ecosystem to engage with and secure contracts from major providers and solution vendors in the region.
• Provide comprehensive procurement solutions and practices, including portfolio management, total cost analysis, risk assessment, and governance for procurement activities to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain constructive, sustainable partnerships with key business stakeholders while developing category intelligence to stay informed about market and technology trends.
• Oversee supplier portfolios and formulate long-term procurement strategies that align with business growth and infrastructure requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in procurement, supply chain management, construction, or data center operations.
• Demonstrated experience managing the complete procurement cycle, including supplier engagement, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in conducting cost analyses and risk assessments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to interpret business needs and collaborate across various functions.
• Effective organizational and project management skills, with a history of successfully leading complex initiatives to completion.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or MBA.
• In-depth knowledge of data center solutions, including construction, fit-out, cabling, and related infrastructure services.
• Familiarity with the EMEA data center market and regional supplier landscape.
