Ping Identity is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join their Sales Engineering Operations team within the cybersecurity sector, specifically focusing on Identity & Access Management (IAM). This role emphasizes rapid prototyping and technical validation, supporting the company’s mission to deliver seamless and secure digital experiences. The successful candidate will work closely with sales teams, product managers, and developers to transform early-stage sales ideas into functional prototypes that can be used for demonstrations, proofs of concept, and customer engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with sales engineering, product, and GTM teams to capture and understand initial feature ideas and sales stories.
• Convert these ideas into clear, developer-ready user stories and workflows using Jira, facilitating smooth communication with technical teams.
• Lead rapid prototyping efforts by creating mockups and prototypes that help visualize features, enabling quick iteration without lengthy documentation processes.
• Use company-approved AI tools responsibly to enhance productivity, accelerate documentation, and generate user flows efficiently.
• Conduct manual testing of complex IAM features, including real-world verification events such as biometric checks and mobile push notifications, to ensure prototypes meet success criteria.
• Maintain prototypes in a state of readiness for live sales demonstrations, incorporating feedback from developers and sales teams to refine functionality and appearance.
• Align closely with sales processes, advocating for improvements and ensuring prototypes support business objectives effectively.

Candidate Requirements

• Between two and five years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or technical support roles, with the ability to work independently.
• Strong storytelling skills to translate vague business inputs into structured workflows and data flows for developers.
• Experience testing across multiple platforms, including mobile devices and web browsers, with a natural curiosity for troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with generative AI tools and their application in a professional setting; coding skills are not required.
• Bonus: familiarity with IAM or cybersecurity concepts, experience in sales environments or customer-facing tech roles.
• Ability to create visual maps and storyboards to facilitate rapid prototyping and iterative development.
