Air Apps is seeking a skilled Backend DevOps Engineer to join their team and help build and maintain robust, scalable infrastructure for their innovative applications. This role involves designing and implementing backend systems that are reliable and efficient, automating deployment processes, and managing continuous integration and delivery pipelines to ensure smooth and rapid updates.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing backend infrastructure for maximum stability and efficiency. Collaboration with development teams is essential to ensure that infrastructure supports application needs and adheres to security standards. Implementing infrastructure as code practices will be a key part of the role, enabling streamlined environment provisioning and management.

Additional responsibilities include ensuring high availability of systems, planning for disaster recovery, and staying current with the latest DevOps tools, trends, and best practices to improve deployment workflows continually.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing backend infrastructure, ideally within a DevOps capacity.
• Strong familiarity with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Understanding of networking, security protocols, and system monitoring tools.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues effectively.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
