At Braze, we are seeking a dynamic leader to head our SMB Account Management team across the EMEA region. This role involves managing a team of up to 8 Account Managers, focusing on expanding and maintaining relationships with small and medium-sized business clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SaaS sales within the Mobile or Marketing Technology sectors, with a proven track record of leading regional sales teams and managing client portfolios across various industries, from startups to established companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide the SMB Account Management team, ensuring high performance and client satisfaction.
- Develop strategies to grow client relationships through upselling and renewal efforts, supporting Brazeâ??s regional growth objectives.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing, Customer Success, Onboarding, and Sales Operations teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience.
- Design and implement operational processes that enhance team efficiency and client engagement.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering their professional growth and success.
- Identify key decision-makers within large organizations to facilitate SaaS investments and long-term partnerships.
- Stay informed on digital marketing trends, especially related to customer experience, to guide team strategies.
- Manage the SaaS sales cycle, ensuring effective engagement and successful client onboarding and retention.
- Contribute to strategic planning and organizational growth initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 8 years of sales experience in Mobile or Marketing Technology sectors.
- Minimum of 3 years managing a regional team of mid-market or commercial sales professionals or Account Managers.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales Operations teams.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with a focus on team development and operational excellence.
- Excellent communication skills, including presentation and written communication.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing trends, especially in customer experience and SaaS solutions.
- Experience working within smaller enterprise sales environments, demonstrating agility and proactive engagement.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures to identify and influence decision-makers for SaaS investments.
