Capgemini is seeking an experienced Director to lead its Asset & Capital Performance practice within the Energy Transition & Utilities sector. This role involves shaping and delivering major transformation projects and capital programs for clients across various sub-sectors including energy networks, retail, markets, water, and nuclear. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting strategic direction, managing senior client relationships, and orchestrating cross-disciplinary teams to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve asset and capital management within the energy and utilities sectors.
  • Lead large-scale transformation programs, defining vision, scope, and strategic goals, while ensuring alignment with client business objectives.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with senior executives, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring project success.
  • Oversee the delivery of consulting engagements, managing risks, governance, and client satisfaction.
  • Build and lead diverse teams of consultants and practitioners, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities, lead proposals, and expand the client pipeline through existing networks and market activities.
  • Partner with clients and ecosystem partners to develop asset management strategies and translate them into actionable programs.
  • Contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, market insights, and practice development activities.
  • Support internal initiatives such as capability building, recruitment, and knowledge sharing.

Candidate Profile

  • Significant experience in leading asset and capital transformation projects, ideally within consulting or senior industry roles in asset-intensive sectors.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and deliver performance improvement solutions.
  • Experience working within complex, matrix organizations, leading cross-practice teams, and managing multiple priorities.
  • Deep understanding of asset lifecycle management, capital investment, and digital transformation including AI applications.
  • Strong leadership skills in team management, talent development, and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with an entrepreneurial approach to business development.
