Capgemini is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Asset & Capital Performance within their Energy Transition & Utilities practice. This role is central to supporting the energy industryâ??s shift towards clean energy, which is vital for achieving net-zero targets and fostering economic and social growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the practiceâ??s strategic direction, expanding market presence, and leading major transformation projects across sectors such as Energy Networks, Retail, Central Markets, Water, and Nuclear.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee the development and delivery of complex advisory and transformation services, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry standards. Your responsibilities include defining project visions, managing senior client relationships, and leading multidisciplinary teams to execute large-scale programs that improve asset and capital performance. You will focus on integrating digital technologies, data analytics, and AI to enhance decision-making, optimize project delivery, and maximize operational efficiency.
In addition to project leadership, you will be instrumental in business development activities, originating new opportunities, leading proposals, and expanding Capgeminiâ??s market footprint. You will also contribute to thought leadership by creating industry insights, whitepapers, and market-facing content. Developing internal capabilities through talent recruitment, mentoring, and practice development will be a key part of your role.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading asset management and capital investment initiatives, gained through senior roles in consulting or industry. You should possess strong consulting skills, a proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships, and a track record of delivering performance improvements. Excellent communication, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills are essential, along with the ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
