Capgemini is seeking an experienced Director to lead their Asset & Capital Performance practice within the Energy Transition & Utilities sector. This role is central to helping clients navigate the transition to clean energy, which is vital for achieving net-zero goals and fostering economic and social growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and delivering major advisory, consulting, and transformation projects across sectors including Energy Networks, Retail, Central Markets, Water, and Nuclear.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will define strategic direction, grow the business, and manage relationships with senior client executives and stakeholders. Your expertise will be crucial in orchestrating complex transformation programs, setting visions, and ensuring project success in terms of scope, schedule, cost, quality, and operational performance. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering cohesion and high performance, while managing risks at various levels of engagement.
The role involves partnering with clients and ecosystem partners to develop asset management strategies, investment portfolios, and business cases, translating these into actionable programs. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will guide clients on future business and operating models, connecting strategy with engineering, delivery, and asset operations through integrated approaches involving people, processes, technology, and data.
You will mentor and coach senior practitioners and future leaders, contribute to talent acquisition and capability development, and actively participate in business development activities. This includes originating new opportunities, shaping proposals, leading client discussions, and expanding the pipeline of work. Additionally, you will contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, market propositions, and practice development initiatives.
