This role is based in London, United Kingdom, and is a full-time position. Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Strategic Oversight: Lead a high-achieving finance team focused on delivering impact at the portfolio level. Develop talent with an investment mindset to support disciplined decision-making, capital allocation, and value creation across portfolio companies.
  • Financial Processes & Reporting: Drive the standardization, automation, and enhancement of core financial processes to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable reporting. Enable the organization to monitor performance effectively and support investment decisions with high-quality data.
  • Investment Analysis & Portfolio Insight: Produce and interpret detailed financial analyses, business models, and scenario planning to support strategic initiatives, capital deployment, and exit strategies. Provide insights that help shape portfolio strategies and maximize returns.
  • Executive Storytelling & Decision Support: Consolidate complex financial data into clear presentations for executive leadership and investment committees. Translate data into actionable insights to guide investment strategies and value creation plans.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Capital Optimization: Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including investment teams, portfolio company executives, and central functions, to influence strategic decisions, optimize capital use, and track value creation initiatives across the portfolio.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A strong background in banking, consulting, private equity, fintech, or related industries.
  • Experience as a generalist across core finance functions such as business partnering, FP&A, and capital allocation, with a proven track record managing budgets, financial models, and business cases.
  • Experience working within an international or pan-European environment, demonstrating the ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-moving settings.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to produce and interpret detailed financial analyses and models.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly present complex financial information to senior leadership and investment committees.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence strategic decision-making.
