Liberty Global is seeking a highly experienced professional to fill the role of Director, Distribution and Funder Engagement for the US and European markets. This position offers a significant opportunity to influence the company’s growth trajectory by connecting client financing needs with suitable banks, funds, and non-bank investors. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with a broad network of funding partners across multiple regions, including the US, UK, and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen relationships with financial institutions, including banks, investment funds, and non-bank lenders, to facilitate funding opportunities.
- Identify appropriate funding sources for working capital and structured finance transactions, assessing their risk appetite and expected returns.
- Lead negotiations and manage discussions with potential funding partners from initial contact through to onboarding and closing deals, utilizing your market knowledge and existing relationships.
- Collaborate with origination and product teams to craft compelling financing proposals tailored to client and investor needs.
- Provide insights into market trends, new entrants, and strategic developments within the working capital finance sector.
- Represent Liberty Blume Specialty Finance in meetings with clients, funding partners, and internal teams across the US, UK, and Europe.
- Shape and pitch financing opportunities, ensuring alignment with both client requirements and investor expectations.
- Build long-term relationships with funding partners to support ongoing and future financing initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Extensive experience in structured finance, corporate finance, or transactional banking, particularly in funding distribution.
- Proven ability to manage and develop relationships with funding partners, including non-bank investors, with a strong understanding of the US funding landscape.
- Demonstrated success in leading negotiations and closing deals from initial outreach to final agreement.
- Deep market knowledge of working capital finance, including familiarity with providers, trends, and strategic shifts.
- Excellent communication skills for pitching opportunities and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Desirable: Broader experience in project finance, supply chain finance, securitization, or receivables finance, especially involving sub-investment grade organizations.
- Experience working across international markets and with geographically dispersed teams is preferred.

Work Pattern and Location
This role offers flexibility, with London-based employees required to work US hours when necessary, and Denver-based employees expected to work UK hours as needed.
