Capgemini is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our Energy Transition & Utilities practice as a Director focused on AI transformation within the Future Utility sector. This role involves spearheading major consulting and transformation projects that leverage artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and operational modernization to help clients adapt to the rapidly evolving energy landscape.

As part of Capgemini Invent, a division dedicated to innovative transformation consulting, you will work closely with clients across sectors such as Energy Networks, Water, Energy Retail, and Nuclear. Your responsibilities will include leading business development efforts by identifying and shaping new opportunities, creating compelling proposals, and building strategic partnerships with technology providers and ecosystem collaborators. You will also be responsible for delivering large-scale AI-enabled transformation programs, acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives, and defining AI strategies, operating models, and governance frameworks to support scaled adoption.

Internally, you will contribute to capability development by creating reusable assets, accelerators, and intellectual property, while supporting practice operations like recruitment and proposition development. You will foster a culture of learning and leadership by mentoring team members, developing talent, and promoting thought leadership through industry insights, publications, and conference participation.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in consulting or senior industry roles within the energy and utilities sectors, with a proven record of delivering large transformation initiatives. Deep expertise in AI strategy, governance, and emerging technologies such as generative AI, automation, and IoT is essential. You should possess strong leadership skills, a client-focused mindset, and an entrepreneurial approach to growth and innovation.
