Capgemini is seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to serve as the Director of HR AI Technology & Transformation within their Capgemini Invent division. This role focuses on driving innovative HR technology solutions, business development, and client transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing employee experience through cutting-edge platforms and AI integrations.
Role Overview
In this position, you will be responsible for leading client engagements that involve designing and implementing HR technology strategies utilizing platforms such as Microsoft Viva, Microsoft 365 Copilot, ServiceNow HRSD, and major HR ERP systems like SAP, Workday, and Oracle. Your expertise will help clients transition to unified employee experience platforms, ensuring seamless integration and adoption across their ecosystems.
You will also focus on developing and strengthening the practiceâ??s capabilities by ensuring your consulting teams are proficient in HR AI solutions across Microsoft 365, Google Workspace with Gemini, and AI functionalities within leading HR platforms. Developing robust methodologies, assets, and standards will be key to delivering high-quality projects.
Staying ahead of technological advancements in employee experience tools such as Viva, Copilot, and Gemini is essential. You will help clients understand how these innovations influence communication, knowledge sharing, service delivery, and HR functions at large.
Overseeing the delivery of complex HR technology projects, you will ensure solutions are effectively integrated across platforms like Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, and ServiceNow, while accommodating local policies, languages, and operational requirements. You will shape and govern the overall HR technology architecture, advising on platform selection, sourcing, integration, and adoption strategies, often as part of broader HR transformation initiatives.
Beyond project delivery, you will contribute to business growth by leading or supporting proposals, RFPs, bids, and client pitches. You will also participate in internal initiatives such as developing campaigns, whitepapers, and practice development activities. Personal and team development through training and certifications will be encouraged to keep skills current.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have the ability to translate complex HR workflows into structured solutions, define future operating models, and build clear business cases. A deep understanding of the shift towards unified employee experience platforms and their operational implications is required. You should be curious, collaborative, and comfortable challenging the status quo, applying a human-centered, design-led approach to technology solutions.
Leadership skills are essential, including building high-performing teams, coaching, and influencing senior stakeholders. Technical expertise must include knowledge of ServiceNow HRSD, Microsoft Viva and Copilot, Google Workspace with Gemini, and major HRIS platforms. Certifications such as Certified Implementation Specialist â?? HRSD, Microsoft Power Platform, Google Workspace Administrator, and HR ERP certifications are preferred.
Experience in large consulting firms or industry with a consulting background, along with proven success in proposition development and business growth, is highly valued. Strong business development skills are necessary, with a track record of generating substantial consulting revenues.
