Role Overview
The Sales Director will hold full responsibility for the Middle East region, developing and executing strategic plans to meet business goals. This role involves managing a high-impact sales team, fostering strong customer relationships, and leveraging partnerships with GSIs and other channel collaborators. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in SaaS enterprise sales, with success in fast-growth environments, and possess a well-established network within the Middle East market.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate strategic and operational plans aligned with Ping Identityâ??s overall objectives.
- Use tools such as territory planning, account management, pipeline oversight, and regular reviews to ensure sales targets are met.
- Coach and advise the sales team on how to effectively communicate Ping Identityâ??s value to enterprise clients, increasing deal sizes.
- Identify opportunities for expanding business within the territory and existing customer base.
- Collaborate with GSIs and partners to source and develop new sales opportunities.
- Manage expenses related to the sales operations within the region.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to support business growth.
- Ensure effective use of CRM systems like Salesforce and adherence to standard business practices.
- Communicate Ping Identityâ??s vision clearly and align team goals accordingly.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team, promoting a culture of high performance and teamwork.
- Recruit new talent, promote high-potential employees, and oversee performance reviews and development initiatives.
- Establish and nurture relationships with C-level executives in large enterprise clients across various industries.
- Maintain and expand the partner network, working collaboratively on joint projects.
- Manage customer relationships proactively, including handling escalations and resolving issues to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Drive initiatives aimed at improving customer experience and loyalty.
Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience leading sales teams focused on the Middle East, with a strong background in enterprise SaaS and managed services.
- Proven success in managing large strategic accounts and developing long-term client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas consistently.
- Experience in transitioning teams from traditional on-premises solutions to cloud-based SaaS offerings.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-growing, global environment with a flexible approach to travel within the Middle East.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships across organizational levels.
- Strong partner management experience, including working with GSIs and system integrators.
- Deep understanding of enterprise SaaS, managed services, and strategic account management.
