Capgemini is seeking an experienced leader to join their team as a Director specializing in the national security sector. This role involves leading complex projects, driving business growth, and developing long-term client relationships within the UKâ??s public sector, particularly in national security agencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently managing large-scale transformation programs, contributing to strategic initiatives, and expanding Capgeminiâ??s influence in this critical market.

As part of the role, you will be expected to generate approximately £2 million in annual consulting revenues by leveraging your existing network and relationships. You will build and maintain trust-based relationships with government clients, adopting a sell-deliver-sell approach to ensure ongoing engagement and success. Your expertise will help clients realize their strategic transformation goals through innovative, data-driven solutions, often collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including design, data analytics, AI, and solutions architecture.

The position requires active participation in business development activities such as preparing proposals, responding to RFPs, and hosting client events. You will also contribute to internal initiatives like practice development, thought leadership, and knowledge sharing, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Mentoring and coaching junior team members, acting as a role model, and embodying company values are key aspects of this leadership role.

The ideal candidate will have extensive consulting experience, particularly in large-scale public sector programs, with a strong background in business development and client relationship management. Security clearance at the DV level is mandatory. You should possess excellent communication skills, be adaptable to changing priorities, and demonstrate a passion for public service and societal impact. Experience in program management, organizational design, process mapping, and agile methodologies will be highly valued.
