OneTrust is seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to oversee and lead strategic customer implementations within their professional services team. This role involves acting as the senior delivery sponsor for complex projects, providing executive-level governance, and ensuring that customer engagements are aligned with business goals and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary senior sponsor for high-stakes customer projects, guiding strategic implementation efforts.
• Lead governance meetings with senior stakeholders, including Steering Committees and review forums, to monitor project progress and alignment.
• Identify potential risks early in the delivery process related to project scope, commercial factors, or client relationships, and implement strategies to mitigate them effectively.
• Manage escalations on at-risk projects, supporting recovery plans that balance customer satisfaction, delivery feasibility, and profit margins.
• Ensure continuity across professional services delivery, including account expansion activities and renewal planning for key clients.
• Work collaboratively with Project Managers to support strategic delivery decisions without managing daily project tasks.
• Coordinate with Customer Success and Sales teams to align delivery plans with client priorities and growth opportunities.
• Contribute insights during the scoping phase of large or strategic opportunities, influencing governance and execution strategies.
• Act as the main point of contact for partner-led programs, establishing clear governance and escalation pathways.
• Coach delivery teams on effective communication with senior stakeholders, stakeholder management, and escalation prevention.
• Participate in initiatives aimed at continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned, best practices, and practical recommendations for service enhancement.

Candidate Requirements

• At least six years of experience leading professional services, enterprise software delivery, or strategic consulting for complex customer projects.
• A relevant bachelorâ??s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience working with large enterprise clients in fast-moving, high-responsibility environments.
• Ability to engage effectively with senior executives and C-suite stakeholders.
• Experience managing escalations and leading recovery efforts across cross-functional teams.
• Strong commercial judgment, balancing customer value, delivery risks, and margins.
• Excellent communication, influencing, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Deep understanding of enterprise delivery governance and translating business outcomes into practical delivery actions.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across services, sales, customer success, product, and partner teams.
• Domain expertise in areas such as Privacy, AI Governance, Risk Management, or Content Management Platforms is preferred.
• Relevant certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or Agile are beneficial.
