Graphcore is seeking an experienced Engineering Change Analyst to join their team in Bristol, UK. This role involves managing complex engineering modifications related to advanced AI hardware, ensuring that all changes are executed in a controlled, traceable manner that supports ongoing product development. The successful candidate will coordinate product and manufacturing change processes, including handling engineering change requests (ECRs), engineering change orders (ECOs), deviations, and related documentation, maintaining comprehensive records and visibility throughout the lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include supporting impact assessments and participating in change review meetings to evaluate proposed modifications. Clear and effective communication across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams is essential to ensure alignment and understanding of change activities. The analyst will track actions, identify potential blockers, and ensure that change initiatives progress smoothly and on schedule. Additionally, they will assist teams in understanding the impacts of changes by documenting decisions, providing guidance on change procedures, and resolving issues proactively to prevent delays.

The role also involves maintaining and improving product configuration data, ensuring compliance with company standards and best practices in product data governance and PLM systems.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience in managing engineering change control processes, product lifecycle management, or manufacturing operations within a technical environment.
  • Hands-on experience with PLM, ERP, or engineering data management tools, with a good understanding of bills of materials (BOMs), part numbering, revision control, and engineering documentation standards.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple change processes simultaneously, tracking progress, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and disciplines.
  • Experience in electronics, semiconductors, computing, or complex hardware product development, especially in contract manufacturing or global production environments.
  • Practical knowledge of controlled change procedures such as ECRs, ECOs, ECNs, or deviations, and familiarity with supporting change review or control boards.
  • Relevant educational background, including a degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent industry experience.
