Fractile is seeking an Engineering Manager for Compilers to lead a team dedicated to developing a cutting-edge compiler stack for AI acceleration hardware. This role is pivotal in ensuring top-tier inference performance for large language models on our innovative chips.

As the Engineering Manager, you will oversee a team of over 10 engineers, working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Your responsibilities will include making architectural decisions based on evolving specifications and collaborating with hardware, driver, runtime, and machine learning engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing high-performance development teams and delivering outstanding results. Experience in compiler development, particularly with machine learning compilers and technologies such as MLIR or TVM, is highly desirable. A solid understanding of computer architecture, performance optimization techniques, and proficiency in C/C++ are essential.

This position offers the opportunity to shape the architecture of a compiler from the ground up, making key decisions that will influence the performance of next-generation AI hardware. You will need to be comfortable with ambiguity and capable of making informed decisions with incomplete information.
