Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within manufacturing, increasing revenue for Anthropic’s AI solutions.
- Navigate complex organizational structures to reach decision-makers, educate them on the benefits of Anthropic’s offerings, and support their AI deployment initiatives.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing deals, ensuring a smooth process for clients.
- Design and implement innovative sales strategies tailored to manufacturing procurement and budgeting cycles to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Analyze manufacturing industry trends and dynamics to develop targeted sales campaigns and activities.
- Expand market reach by identifying new use cases within production, engineering, and operations teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams to differentiate and position products effectively for manufacturing applications.
- Engage with a variety of stakeholders, including executives, IT, procurement, and plant managers, to build consensus and facilitate sales negotiations.
- Gather user feedback to inform product development and enhance features relevant to manufacturing needs.
- Continuously improve sales methodologies by updating playbooks, templates, and best practices based on experience and market feedback.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize sales productivity and consistency.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 8 years of B2B sales experience, especially in SaaS, API solutions, or emerging tech sectors.
- Proven success in managing complex sales within manufacturing organizations and closing strategic deals by understanding technical and operational use cases.
- Extensive experience navigating manufacturing organizational structures and procurement processes, with the ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders including executives and technical teams.
- Strong negotiation skills with a history of closing complex agreements within manufacturing procurement policies.
- Consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets through effective pipeline and sales process management.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of confidently presenting to audiences ranging from plant managers to senior executives.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing buying cycles, decision-making processes, and industry pain points.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with creative tactics for capturing new opportunities.
- Passion for AI technology and experience with advanced AI systems, with a commitment to the ethical and safe development of AI for manufacturing applications.
- Educational background with at least a bachelorâ??s degree or equivalent in a relevant field, supported by professional experience.
Benefits and Compensation
The role offers an annual salary ranging from £280,000 to £330,000 GBP, including base pay and commissions, with the OTE reflecting high earning potential.
