Your Role

As an intern, you will engage in various research activities, learning how our analysts formulate investment theses to guide portfolio managers. You will have the opportunity to work independently while also collaborating with the wider investment team. Throughout the program, you will be tasked with researching individual stocks, presenting your findings, and developing your analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Research individual stocks and present findings to senior investors.
• Analyze companies’ products, services, strategies, and financial data.
• Assess competitive positions and management competencies of companies.
• Build financial models to forecast earnings and estimate intrinsic values.
• Compile analyses into research reports recommending investments for client funds.

Support and Development

Upon joining, you will participate in an orientation to meet fellow interns and learn about Fidelity’s operations. You will receive continuous support from your assigned buddy and the broader team, including Portfolio Managers. The program includes a company-wide induction and specific technical training, along with weekly learning sessions and virtual drop-in opportunities with the Early Careers team.

Candidate Profile

We welcome applications from students in their penultimate year of undergraduate or masterâ??s programs, graduating in 2028. Ideal candidates will possess:

• Strong analytical skills for conducting complex research.
• Effective communication skills to articulate investment judgments.
• Fluency in English.
