ControlAI is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing the development of unsafe superintelligence and ensuring a positive future for humanity. Our work encompasses policy and legislation development, media engagement, high-quality content production, and effective campaign management. In less than two years, we have gained significant public support, authored draft bills, and formed international coalitions to address the risks associated with AI.

We are currently seeking exceptional talent to join our team in London. We encourage potential candidates to familiarize themselves with our mission by reading The Compendium and A Narrow Path. We define ‘exceptional’ through a variety of achievements, and while a background in AI and policy is not required, we value a history of brilliance and high-agency successes.

Examples of the exceptional qualities we look for include:

• Mastery in various technical subjects or industries.
• Experience founding and building successful organizations.
• High-level responsibility in government or other fields.
• Success in competitive arenas such as programming, mathematics, or debate.
• Creation of groundbreaking technologies.
• Recognition as an emerging talent in relevant fields (e.g., scholarships, Forbes 30 under 30).

Our headquarters is located in London, UK, with plans for a new office in Washington D.C. We offer benefits such as pension contributions up to 5% and 25 days of holiday. ControlAI can provide visa assistance for exceptional candidates relocating to the UK, but not for those moving to the US.
