About the Role
We are expanding our diverse team to include a System Test Engineer who will play a key role in verifying neural network hardware. You will collaborate with experts across global design centers to deliver innovative IP solutions. Your responsibilities will include influencing verification strategies, owning complex work packages, and ensuring successful project completion. The work involves creating and maintaining test automation, developing test cases, and working with modern tools and infrastructure to support system validation and debug activities.
What You Will Do
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts for neural network hardware verification.
- Create and execute detailed test cases to validate hardware functionality and performance.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated emulation environments using platforms such as ZeBu, Palladium, or Strato.
- Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to optimize workflows for design bring-up, debugging, and validation activities.
- Assist in troubleshooting simulation and emulation issues, tracking results meticulously to ensure quality.
- Collaborate with EDA vendors to enhance tool capabilities and resolve technical issues.
- Plan and estimate testing efforts, managing timelines and resources effectively.
- Support system validation activities to bridge silicon development and real-world deployment.
Required Skills and Experience
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure high-quality verification and minimal bug escapes.
- Experience in creating, debugging, and managing system test environments, including authoring test cases and analyzing results.
- Hands-on experience with emulation platforms such as ZeBu, Palladium, or Strato.
- Familiarity with hardware description languages like SystemVerilog or Verilog.
- Experience working with EDA vendors to introduce new capabilities and troubleshoot issues.
- Ability to plan and estimate testing efforts accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge of requirements management and UVM-based verification environments is a plus.
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git and CI platforms.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Perl for automation and diagnostics.
- Practical understanding of embedded software testing, machine learning, and neural networks.
- Understanding of performance tuning and efficiency techniques for large-scale emulation systems.
