Our client, a fast-growing company specializing in semiconductor intellectual property (IP), is seeking a Field Application Director to lead their established team of FAEs across Europe and Asia-Pacific. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the technical strategy, foster customer success, and secure major design wins in a dynamic and expanding business focused on next-generation AI and high-performance computing silicon IP.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will work closely with sales, product management, and R&D teams to support strategic customers throughout the entire engagement lifecycle. This includes providing pre-sales technical support, post-sales assistance, and shaping the future product roadmap based on customer feedback and market trends. The role involves managing a team of FAEs, driving technical initiatives, and traveling internationally approximately 30-40% of the time to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Location and Travel

This position is based remotely within the UK, France, Spain, Netherlands, or Czechia. The role requires regular international travel, estimated at 30-40%, to support clients and business development activities across different regions.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a relevant degree in electronic engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Have proven leadership experience managing teams of Field Applications Engineers or similar technical roles.
• Possess a strong background in semiconductor technology, SoC architecture, or silicon IP development.
• Be familiar with digital design flows, ASIC design, RTL, and architectural concepts.
• Have customer-facing experience in both pre-sales and post-sales contexts, demonstrating excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Be comfortable with international travel and engaging with clients across different countries.
