Join a rapidly growing semiconductor company based in the UK that is pushing the boundaries of IP and networking technology. We are seeking a skilled Field Application Engineer (FAE) to provide expert technical support and pre-sales assistance to clients across the UK and Europe. This role involves acting as the primary technical contact for customers, offering insights into IP integration, Network-on-Chip (NOC) architecture, and AMBA protocol standards, all aimed at ensuring the successful deployment of complex System-on-Chip (SoC) designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales team to deliver customized technical support tailored to client needs throughout the UK and European markets.
- Assist customers in integrating intellectual property cores into their SoC designs, with a particular emphasis on NOC architecture and AMBA protocols such as AXI, AHB, and APB.
- Participate in pre-sales activities by delivering technical presentations, evaluating products, and discussing system architecture options with clients.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to relay customer feedback, helping to inform product improvements and new feature development.
Candidate Requirements
- A strong foundation in digital hardware design, with experience in hardware description languages like Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.
- Practical experience working with AMBA protocols, including AXI, AHB, and APB standards.
- Thorough understanding of IP core integration processes and overall SoC architecture design principles.
- Knowledge of Network-on-Chip (NOC) design and implementation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for customer-facing roles, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
