We are seeking a Founding Full Stack/AI Engineer for a fully remote position at an early-stage AI startup that is developing an innovative platform. This platform integrates multiple large language models (LLMs) with both private and public data, allowing users to search, chat, draft, and transcribe seamlessly.

As a Founding Full Stack/AI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the product and the engineering team from the ground up. You will work directly with the founder, enabling you to influence not only the product’s functionality but also the company’s operational culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the founder to define and build the product and team from the ground up.
• Take ownership of the architecture, technology stack, and future direction of the product.
• Engage in cutting-edge work involving LLM APIs, generative UX, vector databases, and AI-native infrastructure.
• Solve complex technical challenges related to multi-LLM orchestration, search and retrieval, and user experience.
• Deliver solutions that address real-world problems such as inference at scale, data security, and performance.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack engineering, demonstrating comfort across the entire stack.
• Proficiency in technologies including React, Next.js, Node, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), as well as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD processes.
• Experience in building and scaling production systems effectively.
• Familiarity with working on LLM APIs and integrating AI models into user-facing applications.
• A startup mindset, with the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, adapt quickly, and take on various roles.
