About the Role

Legend is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join the Commercial Finance team. This role is pivotal in acting as a key financial partner to the iGaming division, providing strategic insights and influencing commercial decision-making. As an individual contributor with significant ownership, you will work closely with the Principal FP&A Lead and the Head of iGaming, supporting a diverse portfolio of products, markets, and investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted finance partner to the iGaming leadership team, developing a thorough understanding of the business and using financial insights to challenge assumptions and support strategic initiatives.
• Analyze profit and loss statements along with operational KPIs to identify performance drivers and recommend improvements.
• Build and maintain financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses to evaluate investment opportunities, risks, and potential returns.
• Lead the forecasting and planning processes by integrating financial, operational, and commercial data, while actively challenging assumptions to ensure accuracy and robustness.
• Identify risks and opportunities proactively through data analysis, root cause investigations, and initiating discussions on potential actions.
• Present insights and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders, confidently challenging existing perspectives when data indicates alternative strategies.
• Collaborate with Product, Commercial, Marketing, and Data teams to connect financial performance with operational decisions.
• Improve FP&A processes by enhancing models, reporting, and data utilization, enabling the finance team to focus more on strategic influence rather than routine reporting.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Significant experience in FP&A or commercial finance, with a history of partnering with senior non-finance leaders.
• Strong commercial judgment with a proven ability to influence business decisions through insightful analysis.
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning, with advanced Excel skills.
• Deep understanding of P&L and EBITDA performance, with the ability to link financial outcomes to operational and commercial factors.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Experience working in fast-paced, complex environments, ideally within iGaming, gaming, digital media, or technology sectors.
• Proactive, curious, and able to identify opportunities and risks independently.
• Skilled at challenging senior stakeholders constructively and building trusted relationships.

Application Process

The interview process involves an initial 30-minute conversation with a Talent Partner via Zoom, followed by a 60-minute interview with the Principal FP&A Lead and People Experience Partner. Candidates will then complete a take-home case study, culminating in a final 60-minute interview with senior FP&A leadership via Zoom.
