Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive applications from start to finish for new trading products and client portals, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Build and maintain internal trading tools and applications that support the company’s trading activities.
• Oversee the development of the company’s corporate website frontend, including feature enhancements and updates.
• Create and maintain backend services and APIs to support trading functionalities, modeling market and trading data effectively.
• Shape the architecture and vision of new platforms and portals from scratch, owning the user experience across various customer lifecycle stages.
• Work collaboratively with product, marketing, trading, and engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Deepen your understanding of building scalable, high-performance applications and system architecture, especially in the context of algorithmic crypto trading.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least five years of experience in software development, with expertise in both backend and frontend technologies.
• Strong backend skills, especially with Go and/or Python, including designing services, APIs, and data models.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies such as JavaScript and TypeScript, experience with Node.js and npm, and familiarity with modern frameworks like React.js or similar.
• Experience working on client-facing financial or professional services products is preferred; fintech or crypto experience is a plus.
• Good understanding of infrastructure components like CDN services, web servers, containers, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS, including services like EC2, ECS, S3, IAM, VPC, and load balancers; experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform is advantageous.
• Knowledge of relational databases, schema design, and query optimization, along with caching strategies.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices, including protection against common vulnerabilities such as XSS, CSRF, and OWASP risks, as well as authentication and authorization protocols.
• Experience with frontend-backend integration, asynchronous request handling, and real-time data streaming to browsers.
• Interest or experience in algorithmic trading is beneficial but not required.
