Capgemini is seeking a highly experienced GCP Cloud Security & Platform Engineer who specializes in designing, implementing, and managing secure cloud environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud security, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation, with a focus on creating resilient, compliant, and scalable cloud solutions for enterprise needs.

This role involves designing, building, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructures, leveraging Terraform for IaC, and automating deployment processes to improve efficiency. The engineer will be responsible for implementing security governance, including managing IAM, network configurations, firewall rules, and shared VPCs, while ensuring adherence to industry security standards such as CIS benchmarks.

The position requires a strong understanding of cloud security monitoring tools like Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and Security Command Center, along with experience in disaster recovery, operational risk management, and cloud resilience strategies. The candidate should also have experience with CI/CD pipelines to facilitate automated deployment and troubleshooting skills to resolve cloud environment issues effectively.

This role offers a hybrid working pattern, combining work from company offices, client sites, and home, though working entirely from home is not permitted.
