About the Role

The successful candidate will act as the face of Capgeminiâ??s GCP services, inspiring clients during pitches and leading the technical delivery of cloud solutions. Responsibilities include managing the entire client engagement lifecycle, from initial discovery and proposal writing to high-level architecture design and deployment oversight. You will serve as the principal architect on strategic accounts, designing complex GCP environments, migration strategies, and ensuring smooth deployment and adoption.

You will build strong relationships with senior client executives such as CIOs, CTOs, and Cloud Directors, providing strategic advice and ongoing support. Additionally, you will develop reusable GCP solution offerings tailored to various financial services verticals, including retail banking, commercial banking, payments, and insurance. Your insights will help shape Capgeminiâ??s internal investment strategies into GCP solutions, aligning them with client delivery trends.

Leading and mentoring a global team of GCP architects and engineers is a key part of this role, ensuring high-quality delivery from initial planning through to production. You will also contribute to strategic discussions aimed at expanding Capgeminiâ??s GCP practice within the financial services industry.

Candidate Skills and Experience

• Proven experience working within an IT services or consulting firm, with a strong record of winning new business and leading technical project delivery.
• Deep knowledge of the financial services ecosystem, including regulatory compliance, security standards, and legacy system modernization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior client stakeholders such as CIOs and CTOs.
• Hands-on experience as a GCP Solutions Architect, with a history of designing and executing complex cloud-native architectures and migrations.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps and containerization tools such as Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, Ansible, and Terraform is highly preferred.
• Experience managing and mentoring cross-regional, onshore, and offshore delivery teams.
• Preferred certifications include GCP Professional Cloud Architect, with additional certifications in Cloud Security or Cloud Networking (e.g., Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Professional Cloud Network Engineer).
