Interns will be engaged in creating and refining HDL code, optimizing power consumption, and participating in physical layout processes such as floorplanning, placement, and routing to ensure efficient chip design and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop HDL code for GPU components, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Implement power-saving techniques and analyze RTL designs to reduce energy consumption.
  • Assist in physical design activities, including floorplanning, placement, and routing of GPU chips.
  • Work collaboratively with architecture, verification, and physical design teams to integrate various aspects of GPU development.
  • Test and validate RTL designs to meet specified performance, power, and area goals.
  • Contribute to improving design methodologies and tools used in GPU development processes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Enrollment in a university program related to Electrical or Computer Engineering, with a graduation date that aligns with the internship period.
  • Solid understanding of digital logic design and HDL languages such as Verilog or VHDL.
  • Knowledge of GPU architecture, RTL design principles, and power optimization techniques is a plus.
  • Experience with physical design processes like placement and routing is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
