As a Graduate Aerospace Integration Engineer at BAE Systems, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering advanced technology-led solutions in the defense and aerospace sectors. This role is based in Brough (Hull) and offers a competitive salary of £34,000 per annum, along with a £2,000 welcome bonus. You will be expected to work on-site 4-5 days a week, with some flexibility in working arrangements.

Role Overview

Integration Engineers adopt a comprehensive approach to ensure that various component systems are effectively integrated to meet product capabilities. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing engineering activities, engaging with customers to translate their needs into clear engineering requirements, and collaborating with a diverse team of engineers to achieve successful project outcomes.

Core Duties

• Utilize your engineering expertise to solve problems throughout the product lifecycle.
• Manage projects holistically while deepening your technical understanding of the products.
• Collaborate with your team and other departments to develop advanced engineering solutions, supporting decision-making for capability optimization, interoperability, and risk reduction.
• Engage in early lifecycle projects for Future Combat Air System (FCAS) or support Eurofighter Typhoon with new systems.
• Employ systems engineering techniques to define and develop a comprehensive product architecture.

The Air Team at BAE Systems has a rich history in the development, manufacture, upgrade, and support of leading combat and fast jet trainer aircraft. The team operates globally, supporting the design, production, and provision of aircraft such as Typhoon, F-35, and Tempest.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, at least a 2:2 Bachelorâ??s degree or a pass at Masterâ??s level in Aerospace Engineering, any other Engineering subject, or any STEM-related field.

This is a permanent position with a start date of July 5, 2027.
