Graduate Aerospace Integration Engineer Overview

Join BAE Systems as a Graduate Aerospace Integration Engineer at our Warton/Samlesbury location in Lancashire. This role is part of our Graduate, Placement, and Summer Internship Programme, with an intake scheduled for July 2027. You will be expected to work on-site 4-5 days a week, with a competitive salary of £34,000 per annum and a £2,000 welcome bonus.

As a Graduate Aerospace Integration Engineer, you will engage in a full lifecycle approach to ensure that component systems are effectively integrated to deliver products with all necessary capabilities. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing engineering activities, engaging with customers to translate their needs into engineering requirements, and participating in platform-level engineering activities.

Core Duties

• Utilize your engineering expertise to solve problems throughout the product lifecycle.
• Manage projects holistically while deepening your technical understanding of the products.
• Collaborate with your team and other departments to develop advanced engineering solutions, supporting decision-making for capability optimization, interoperability, and risk reduction.
• Work on early lifecycle projects for Future Combat Air System (FCAS), support the Eurofighter Typhoon with new systems, or innovate for future projects in FalconWorks.
• Apply systems engineering techniques to define and develop a comprehensive product architecture.

Qualification Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, at least a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in Aerospace Engineering, any other engineering discipline, or any STEM subject.

Start date for this position is July 5, 2027, and it is a permanent contract.
