Role Overview

The Graduate Airframe Engineering position encompasses four key disciplines: Aerodynamics, Design, Materials, and Structures. Each discipline plays a vital role in ensuring the successful development and integrity of aircraft products.

Core Responsibilities

• Aerodynamics: Utilize various methods, including wind tunnel testing and computational techniques, to analyze and optimize aircraft designs for safe operation.
• Design Engineering: Manage stakeholder communications, oversee product bill of materials, and create CAD definitions for manufacturable products.
• Materials Engineering: Analyze, qualify, and test materials, investigate their properties and failures, and develop new materials for airborne platforms.
• Structures Engineering: Conduct structural analysis calculations to ensure the strength, stiffness, and longevity of BAE Systems platforms.
