Join BAE Systems as a Graduate Data Analyst specializing in Data Modelling and Design, where you will play a crucial role in shaping and enhancing the management of critical business and technical data across various programs. This position is based in Warton / Samlesbury, Lancashire, and offers a competitive salary of £34,000 per annum along with a £2,000 welcome bonus.

In this role, you will collaborate with architects, engineers, analysts, and Subject Matter Experts to design data models and develop data solutions that facilitate informed decision-making within the BAE Systems Air business. You will have the opportunity to work on complex challenges in a highly collaborative environment, applying your analytical skills and innovative thinking.

Core Responsibilities

• Support the design, documentation, and governance of conceptual, logical, and physical data models to ensure enterprise information is structured and aligned with business requirements.
• Engage in hands-on data management and engineering to validate designs within the local Data Warehousing estate.
• Create, update, and maintain information architecture objects, relationships, and repositories within BizzDesign, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
• Contribute to the definition and application of information architecture principles, standards, and best practices.
• Develop strong working relationships across Airâ??s business functions, providing guidance on information architecture practices and effectively communicating designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must have obtained or be predicted to obtain at least a 2:2 Bachelorâ??s degree or a pass at Masterâ??s level in relevant subjects such as Physics, Maths, Systems Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, or Computer Science.

The start date for this role is September 6, 2027, and it is a permanent contract.
